Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC will play for Bronze on Saturday after missing out in the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
They lost 3-2 on penalties toMorocco’s SC Casablanca in the second semi-final game on Wednesday, November 15 after the game had ended 2-2 after extra time.
The Ghanaians will face defending champions AS FAR of Morocco at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in the 3rd/4th place play-off.
The two sides met in the group stage at the tournament ongoing in La Cote d’Ivoire with Ampem Darkoa beating the Moroccans 2-1.
The final between Mamelodi Sundowns and SC Casablanca is scheduled to take place on Sunday.
